back again with some news! Had a very cool and after all chilled 1st weekend. On Friday we met up with some people of our course in Lisbon. We had some Beers here and there. The vibe was very good, lots of people were out on the streets to have a good time and have some drinks. It got kind of hassle as we were just to many people for that. Somebody got lost there, where is xxx, you know what im talking about. When the group split up a bit it actually got nicer. Alcohol can be crazy cheap here. It’s actually insane. I saw signs saying “10 Tequila 5 €”. So we hopped from bar to bar and had a good time. Mostly i have been hanging out out with some guys from the Netherlands. Tom and Bert are their names – shoutout to you guys, if you ever gonna read this – cool night!)
So for Saturday i planed to play MTG and to checkout Lisbon afterwards. That did not work out exactly as i wanted it to, because i made Top 8 in a tournament. Which is cool. The store was very cool and the people were friendly. Top 8ed my very first tournament in Lisbon. Fuck yeah! Won “only” 4 Boosters and pulled only crap but still had a lot of fun. So i was done at 21:30 and made 4th place. There will be another post about the tournament for whoever’s is interested btw. So it was dark – not much checking out Lisbon from there. Just did some grocery shopping at a very fancy mall. Still I have seen some cool stuff while wandering throughout the city before the tournament. Here are some impressions:
And just walking by the sea been super nice. I wonder how long it’s going take till that gets old. I feel like the sea will always stay something special for me, but i guess everybody would say that in my situation.
On Sunday we had to deal with some shit. The toilet in our apartment started leaking in the night and the ceiling was all wet in a roommates room and the living room. Somebody of the employees support came by and fixed and it for us. In the meanwhile we talked to the landlord. She came here and turned off the water until the technician finally came by. He couldn’t fix it right away, but at least we have been able use the water again. After that i had a very new experience. A roommate of mine participated in a course for being a yoga teacher in Thailand and actually did some yoga with 4 of us. That was fun and super relaxing.
